According to this page on Tenda's website, the Capacity-oriented mode limits each node to 4 devices on the 5GHz band. The purpose of this feature is to connect most devices to the 2.4GHz band to free up 5GHz bandwidth for the wireless backhaul. This feature has no advantage when using wired backhaul.
From the limited info I could find, unfortunately there does not appear to be any way of separating the 2.4GHz SSID let along the ability to disable the 2.4GHz band. This is something I would really like to disable on my pair. I currently operate a separate Wi-Fi access point for the 2.4GHz band specifically for our Canon G4511 printer as it will not maintain the connection to Tenda's 2.4GHz band for some reason and this printer does have 5GHz Wi-Fi capability.
Whenever I want to make sure my phone is on the 5GHz band such to download something big, such as an OS update, I toggle aeroplane mode off/on and it usually connects to the 5GHz band.
The wifi speed very terrible after I turn off Capacity-Oriented mode. Its go down to only 3-4Mbs
