Yes, I can confirm that Ethernet and Wi-Fi backhaul are working together.
Tenda support confirmed me that MW6 and MW3 are compatible.
By the way it looks that there are many hardware variants covered under MW6 marketing name. I bought 2 then 2 more MW6 and now they have different firmware versions: V1.0.0.29 (5834) and V1.0.0.32 (9821)
