From my experience with the MW6 nodes, the wired backhaul will not work properly with the above wiring, even with the primary configured in bridge mode. The secondary nodes must connect to the LAN port of the primary node, at least with the MW6s, so it's likely the same with the MW12 series.
As you appear to have the primary node in a separate room, try connecting the wall socket to the LAN port instead as shown below in the modified diagram. Unplug the primary node power before swapping the Ethernet cable from its WAN port to the LAN port. Leave the WAN port empty, then attach the power cable and see if the backhaul remains stable.
From my brief testing, this works with the MW6 when the primary node is configured in bridge mode.
